The denomination is guilty of doing the very thing that Yeshua said not to do. Denominations are divisions.
When you place a man in authority over other men in the congregation, this is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans that Yeshua hates.
1 Peter 5:3 TLV
Don’t lord it over those apportioned to you, but become examples to the flock.
Matthew 20:25-28 TLV
[25] But Yeshua called them over and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones play the tyrant over them. [26] It shall not be this way among you. But whoever wants to be great among you shall be your servant, [27] and whoever wants to be first among you shall be your slave— [28] just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
1 Corinthians 1:10-13 TLV
[10] Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, through the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and in the same purpose. [11] For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers and sisters, by those who are from Chloe’s household, that there are rivalries among you. [12] I say this because you are each saying, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Kefa,” or “I follow Messiah.” [13] Has Messiah been divided? Paul wasn’t crucified for you, was he? Or were you immersed into the name of Paul?
When a body becomes a business, what do you call that? Most call it prostitution. So I have a question for you, Is your church Incorporated?
